Boosting a University Ranking in global rankings QS and THE
In one of our standout success stories, Academic Smart Firm (ASF) partnered with a leading university in Saudi Arabia with the explicit goal of elevating its standing in the QS World University Rankings. Faced with the challenge of improving by more than 100 ranks, we implemented a reputation-centric strategy, honing in on the key indicators such as academic reputation, employer reputation, and faculty-student ratios.
Utilizing rigorous data analytics, we initially conducted a comprehensive assessment of the university's current standing across these indicators. Armed with this data, ASF engaged in a multi-pronged approach that involved stakeholder engagement, strategic academic collaborations, and targeted media outreach. We facilitated partnerships with globally renowned institutions and thought leaders, thereby significantly enhancing the university's academic reputation. Additionally, we implemented employer engagement programs to boost employer reputation, making the university a more attractive prospect for potential partnerships and future employers of graduates.
The result was transformative. Within just one year, the university's ranking soared, exceeding our target and improving its QS ranking by over 100 places. This remarkable leap not only elevated the institution's academic standing but also led to an increase in high-caliber applications from both faculty and students, thus perpetuating a cycle of excellence. This project stands as a testament to the effectiveness of ASF's reputation-boosting tactics in drastically enhancing university rankings on a global scale.

Indexing a Journal in Arabic Citation Index (ARCI) hosted on Web of Science
In a groundbreaking project, Academic Smart Firm (ASF) partnered with an Arabic academic journal, owned and published by a university, aiming for inclusion in the prestigious Arabic Citation Index (ARCI), hosted on Web of Science. Given the stringent criteria for indexing in this respected database, the challenge was substantial but aligned perfectly with our expertise.
Initially, ASF conducted a comprehensive audit of the journal's existing content, editorial standards, and citation practices. Our findings helped us formulate a tailor-made action plan that addressed the journal's specific gaps and strengths. We worked closely with the editorial team to improve the journal structure and optimize citation practices, ensuring they met the ARCI's high standards. We also provided guidance on content quality, relevance, and academic rigor to better align the journal with the expectations of the ARCI.
In addition to structural improvements, ASF initiated workshops and training sessions for the editorial team to sustain the high standards required for continued indexing in the future. Our consultants also engaged in targeted academic outreach to elevate the journal's standing and credibility within the Arabic academic community.
The end result was a resounding success. Within a short timeframe, the journal successfully met all the criteria required and was officially indexed in the Arabic Citation Index on Web of Science. This achievement dramatically elevated the journal's academic reputation, making it a credible source for researchers and academics interested in Arabic scholarly works. The project exemplifies ASF's capacity to navigate the complexities of academic indexing, delivering measurable results that have a lasting impact on a journal's standing and reach
